I then removed trailing white space from math/tgmath.h, support/tst-support-open-dev-null-range.c, and sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/strlen-vec.S, to work around the following obscure pre-commit check failure diagnostics from Savannah. This results in maybe-uninitialized compiler warnings in case of sufficiently aggressive inlining. A test case is included as well. This will be used to implement the /etc/resolv.conf change detection. This currently lives in a header file only. Once there are multiple users, the implementations should be moved into C files.
