commit 41e9cdea9c4ab6606ca462ff4ec901a82d022c05 upstream.

bcm4378 and bcm4387 claim to support LE Coded PHY but fail to pair
(reliably) with BLE devices if it is enabled.
On bcm4378 pairing usually succeeds after 2-3 tries. On bcm4387
pairing appears to be completely broken.

<title>Bluetooth: vhci: Fix race when opening vhci device</title>

commit 92d4abd66f7080075793970fc8f241239e58a9e7 upstream.

When the vhci device is opened in the two-step way, i.e.: open device
then write a vendor packet with requested controller type, the device
shall respond with a vendor packet which includes HCI index of created
interface.

When the virtual HCI is created, the host sends a reset request to the
controller. This request is processed by the vhci_send_frame() function.
However, this request is send by a different thread, so it might happen
that this HCI request will be received before the vendor response is
queued in the read queue. This results in the HCI vendor response and
HCI reset request inversion in the read queue which leads to improper
behavior of btvirt:

&gt; dmesg
[1754256.640122] Bluetooth: MGMT ver 1.22
[1754263.023806] Bluetooth: MGMT ver 1.22
[1754265.043775] Bluetooth: hci1: Opcode 0x c03 failed: -110

In order to synchronize vhci two-step open/setup process with virtual
HCI initialization, this patch adds internal lock when queuing data in
the vhci_send_frame() function.

Asus ROG Ally gaming computer has a MediaTek MT7922 chip that uses USB id
0489:e0f5 and needs to be added to the table. Without this, the device is
not usable and gives the following error:

Bluetooth: hci0: Opcode 0x c03 failed: -110

[ Upstream commit 253f3399f4c09ce6f4e67350f839be0361b4d5ff ]

This introduces HCI_QUIRK_BROKEN_LE_CODED which is used to indicate
that LE Coded PHY shall not be used, it is then set for some Intel
models that claim to support it but when used causes many problems.

[ Upstream commit 9e14606d8f38ea52a38c27692a9c1513c987a5da ]

Since limited tracking device per condition, this feature is to support
tracking multiple devices concurrently.
When a pattern monitor detects the device, this feature issues an address
monitor for tracking that device. Let pattern monitor can keep monitor
new devices.
This feature adds an address filter when receiving a LE monitor device
event which monitor handle is for a pattern, and the controller started
monitoring the device. And this feature also has cancelled the monitor
advertisement from address filters when receiving a LE monitor device
event when the controller stopped monitoring the device specified by an
address and monitor handle.

Below is an example to know the feature adds the address filter.

//Add MSFT pattern monitor
