Commit 89d4f98ae90d ("ARM: remove zte zx platform") missed to remove some definitions for this platform's debug and serial, e.g., code dependent on the config DEBUG_ZTE_ZX. Fortunately, ./scripts/checkkconfigsymbols.py detects this and warns: DEBUG_ZTE_ZX Referencing files: arch/arm/include/debug/pl01x.S Further review by Arnd Bergmann identified even more dead code in the amba serial driver. Remove all this left-over from the zte zx platform. spi: pl022: Use GPIOs looked up by the core

The SPI core looks up GPIO lines from the device tree, so let's stop trying to do that on our own and rely on the core to do this for us. In addition to the GPIO line we also need to keep track of the chip select index separately, as the native chip select needs this index. The driver was reusing the same GPIO array for native chip select indices, so keep this in a separate state variable instead. The facility to pass in custom GPIO lines from the platform data can go, because even if we do have out-of-tree code that want to use platform data, they can soon pass in GPIOs using machine GPIO descriptor tables which will be available after the next step when we convert the driver to using GPIO descriptors. The implicit inclusion of is made explicit as we no longer need to include . amba: Make the remove callback return void

All amba drivers return 0 in their remove callback. Together with the driver core ignoring the return value anyhow, it doesn't make sense to return a value here. Change the remove prototype to return void, which makes it explicit that returning an error value doesn't work as expected. This simplifies changing the core remove callback to return void, too. Partially revert "video: fbdev: amba-clcd: Retire elder CLCD driver"

Also partially revert the follow-up change "drm: pl111: Absorb the external register header". This reverts the parts of commits 7e4e589db76a3cf4c1f534eb5a09cc6422766b93 and 0fb8125635e8eb5483fb095f98dcf0651206a7b8 that touch paths outside of drivers/gpu/drm/pl111. The fbdev driver is used by Android's FVP configuration. Using the DRM driver together with DRM's fbdev emulation results in a failure to boot Android. The root cause is that Android's generic fbdev userspace driver relies on the ability to set the pixel format via FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO, which is not supported by fbdev emulation. There have been other less critical behavioral differences identified between the fbdev driver and the DRM driver with fbdev emulation. The DRM driver exposes different values for the panel's width, height and refresh rate, and the DRM driver fails a FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO syscall with yres_virtual greater than the maximum supported value instead of letting the syscall succeed and setting yres_virtual based on yres.
