[ Upstream commit 501db511397fd6efff3aa5b4e8de415b55559550 ] This patch part reverts fd2a0437dc33 and e858fae2b0b8 which introduced a subtle change in how the virtio_net flags are derived from the SKBs ip_summed field. With the above commits, the flags are set to VIRTIO_NET_HDR_F_DATA_VALID when ip_summed == CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY, thus treating it differently to ip_summed == CHECKSUM_NONE, which should be the same. Further, the virtio spec 1.0 / CS04 explicitly says that VIRTIO_NET_HDR_F_DATA_VALID must not be set by the driver. virtio-net: send gratuitous packets when needed

As hypervior does not have the knowledge of guest network configuration, it's better to ask guest to send gratuitous packets when needed. This patch implements VIRTIO_NET_F_GUEST_ANNOUNCE feature: hypervisor would notice the guest when it thinks it's time for guest to announce the link presnece. Guest tests VIRTIO_NET_S_ANNOUNCE bit during config change interrupt and woule send gratuitous packets through netif_notify_peers() and ack the notification through ctrl vq. We need to make sure the atomicy of read and ack in guest otherwise we may ack more times than being notified. There's no need for the guest to validate the checksum if it have been validated by host nics. So this patch introduces a new flag - VIRTIO_NET_HDR_F_DATA_VALID which is used to bypass the checksum examing in guest. The backend (tap/macvtap) may set this flag when met skbs with CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY to save cpu utilization. No feature negotiation is needed as old driver just ignore this flag. Iperf shows 12%-30% performance improvement for UDP traffic. For TCP, when gro is on no difference as it produces skb with partial checksum. Rusty, commit 3ca4f5ca73057a617f9444a91022d7127041970a virtio: add virtio IDs file moved all device IDs into a single file. While the change itself is a very good one, it can break userspace applications. For example if a userspace tool wanted to get the ID of virtio_net it used to include virtio_net.h. This does no longer work, since virtio_net.h does not include virtio_ids.h. This patch moves all "#include " from the C files into the header files, making the header files compatible with the old ones. In addition, this patch exports virtio_ids.h to userspace.
