[ Upstream commit 948a77aaecf202f722cf2264025f9987e5bd5c26 ] The adap_configured() callback was called with the adap->lock mutex held if the 'configured' argument was false, and without the adap->lock mutex held if that argument was true. That was very confusing, and so split this up in a adap_unconfigured() callback and a high-level configured() callback. This also makes it easier to understand when the mutex is held: all low-level adap_* callbacks are called with the mutex held. All other callbacks are called without that mutex held. media: cec: core: add adap_nb_transmit_canceled() callback

[ Upstream commit da53c36ddd3f118a525a04faa8c47ca471e6c467 ] A potential deadlock was found by Zheng Zhang with a local syzkaller instance. The problem is that when a non-blocking CEC transmit is canceled by calling cec_data_cancel, that in turn can call the high-level received() driver callback, which can call cec_transmit_msg() to transmit a new message. The cec_data_cancel() function is called with the adap->lock mutex held, and cec_transmit_msg() tries to take that same lock. The root cause is that the received() callback can either be used to pass on a received message (and then adap->lock is not held), or to report a canceled transmit (and then adap->lock is held). This is confusing, so create a new low-level adap_nb_transmit_canceled callback that reports back that a non-blocking transmit was canceled. And the received() callback is only called when a message is received, as was the case before commit f9d0ecbf56f4 ("media: cec: correctly pass on reply results") complicated matters. media: dvb-core: Fix use-after-free due to race at dvb_register_device()

[ Upstream commit 627bb528b086b4136315c25d6a447a98ea9448d3 ] dvb_register_device() dynamically allocates fops with kmemdup() to set the fops->owner. And these fops are registered in 'file->f_ops' using replace_fops() in the dvb_device_open() process, and kfree()d in dvb_free_device(). However, it is not common to use dynamically allocated fops instead of 'static const' fops as an argument of replace_fops(), and UAF may occur. These UAFs can occur on any dvb type using dvb_register_device(), such as dvb_dvr, dvb_demux, dvb_frontend, dvb_net, etc. So, instead of kfree() the fops dynamically allocated in dvb_register_device() in dvb_free_device() called during the .disconnect() process, kfree() it collectively in exit_dvbdev() called when the dvbdev.c module is removed. media: dvb-core: Fix use-after-free due on race condition at dvb_net

[ Upstream commit 4172385b0c9ac366dcab78eda48c26814b87ed1a ] A race condition may occur between the .disconnect function, which is called when the device is disconnected, and the dvb_device_open() function, which is called when the device node is open()ed. This results in several types of UAFs. The root cause of this is that you use the dvb_device_open() function, which does not implement a conditional statement that checks 'dvbnet->exit'. So, add 'remove_mutex` to protect 'dvbnet->exit' and use locked_dvb_net_open() function to check 'dvbnet->exit'. media: uvcvideo: Add GUID for BGRA/X 8:8:8:8

[ Upstream commit 015d44c2b700ba9639dd29672ba362796cc0be54 ] The Cypress EZUSB FX3 UVC example can be configured to report pixel format "e436eb7e-524f-11ce-9f53-0020af0ba770". This is its GUID for BGRA/X 8:8:8:8. The UVC 1.5 spec [1] only defines GUIDs for YUY2, NV12, M420 and I420. This seems to be an extension documented in the Microsoft Windows Media Format SDK[2]. This Media Format SDK defines this GUID as corresponding to `MEDIASUBTYPE_RGB32`, which is confirmed by [4] as `MEDIASUBTYPE_ARGB32` has different GUID. Note that in my case, the FX3 UVC can output either channel order, BGR or RGB or any other mix for that matter. Since Linux commit 1b8dc32286a1a ("[media] uvcvideo: Add GUID for BGR 8:8:8") defined a GUID for `MEDIASUBTYPE_RGB24` channel order as BGR, keep this change consistent and define `MEDIASUBTYPE_RGB32` as BGR as well. Document [3] also indicates the channel order is BGR. That is, the cleanup from dvb_unregister_device() releases the dvb_device even if there are pointers stored in file->private_data still refer to it.
