commit 7e040726850a106587485c21bdacc0bfc8a0cbed upstream.

[resend due to me forgetting to cc: linux-api the first time around I
posted these back on Feb 23]

From: Greg Kroah-Hartman &lt;gregkh@linuxfoundation.org&gt;

For some reason these values are not in the uapi header file, so any
libc has to define it themselves. To prevent them from needing to do
this, just have the kernel provide the correct values.

<title>usb: add helper to extract bits 12:11 of wMaxPacketSize</title>

commit 541b6fe63023f3059cf85d47ff2767a3e42a8e44 upstream.

According to USB Specification 2.0 table 9-4,
wMaxPacketSize is a bitfield. Endpoint's maxpacket
is laid out in bits 10:0. For high-speed,
high-bandwidth isochronous endpoints, bits 12:11
contain a multiplier to tell us how many
transactions we want to try per uframe.

This means that if we want an isochronous endpoint
to issue 3 transfers of 1024 bytes per uframe,
wMaxPacketSize should contain the value:

	1024 | (2 &lt;&lt; 11)

or 5120 (0x1400). In order to make Host and
Peripheral controller drivers' life easier, we're
adding a helper which returns bits 12:11. Note that
no care is made WRT to checking endpoint type and
gadget's speed. That's left for drivers to handle.

commit 81cf4a45360f70528f1f64ba018d61cb5767249a upstream.

As most of BOS descriptors are longer in length than their header
'struct usb_dev_cap_header', comparing solely with it is not sufficient
to avoid out-of-bounds access to BOS descriptors.

This patch adds descriptor type specific length check in
usb_get_bos_descriptor() to fix the issue.

commit cf33c1ee5254c6a430bc1538232b49c3ea13e613 upstream.

This patch try to fix the building error on MIPS. The reason is MIPS
has already defined the PTR macro, which conflicts with the PTR macro
in include/uapi/linux/bcache.h.

[ Upstream commit 1786dbf3702e33ce3afd2d3dbe630bd04b1d2e58 ]

On the kernel side, sockaddr_storage is #define'd to
__kernel_sockaddr_storage.  Replacing struct sockaddr_storage with
struct __kernel_sockaddr_storage defined by &lt;linux/socket.h&gt; fixes
the following linux/rds.h userspace compilation error:

/usr/include/linux/rds.h:226:26: error: field 'dest_addr' has incomplete type
  struct sockaddr_storage dest_addr;

This reverts commit ad50561ba7a664bc581826c9d57d137fcf17bfa5.

There was a mixup with the commit message for two upstream commit
that have the same subject line.

This revert will be followed by the two commits with proper commit

The SPI_IOC_MESSAGE() macro references _IOC_SIZEBITS. Add linux/ioctl.h
to make sure this macro is defined. This fixes the following build
failure of lcdproc with the musl libc:
