scripts/kernel-doc: Don't fail with status != 0 if error encountered with -none

[ Upstream commit e814bccbafece52a24e152d2395b5d49eef55841 ] My bisect scripts starting running into build failures when trying to compile 4.15-rc1 with the builds failing with things like: drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/sdio.c:2078: error: Cannot parse struct or union! The line in question is actually just a #define, but after some digging it turns out that my scripts pass W=1 and since commit 3a025e1d1c2ea ("Add optional check for bad kernel-doc comments") that results in kernel-doc running on each source file. The file in question has a badly formatted comment immediately before the #define: /** * struct brcmf_skbuff_cb reserves first two bytes in sk_buff::cb for * bus layer usage. */ which causes the regex in dump_struct to fail (lack of braces following struct declaration) and kernel-doc returns 1, which causes the build to fail. Fix the issue by always returning 0 from kernel-doc when invoked with -none. It successfully generates no documentation, and prints out any issues. modpost: don't emit section mismatch warnings for compiler optimizations

Currently an allyesconfig build [gcc-4.9.1] can generate the following: WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text.unlikely+0x3864): Section mismatch in reference from the function cpumask_empty.constprop.3() to the variable .init.data:nmi_ipi_mask which comes from the cpumask_empty usage in arch/x86/kernel/nmi_selftest.c. Normally we would not see a symbol entry for cpumask_empty since it is: static inline bool cpumask_empty(const struct cpumask *srcp) however in this case, the variant of the symbol gets emitted when GCC does constant propagation optimization. Fix things up so that any locally optimized constprop variants don't warn when accessing variables that live in the __init sections. modpost: expand pattern matching to support substring matches

However there currently is not a combination of both that can be used to target matches of whole families of functions that share a common substring. Here we expand the *foo and foo* match to also support *foo* with the goal of targeting compiler generated symbol names that contain strings like ".constprop." and ".isra." kconfig/nconf: Fix hang when editing symbol with a long prompt

[ Upstream commit 79e51b5c2deea542b3bb8c66e0d502230b017dde ] Currently it is impossible to edit the value of a config symbol with a prompt longer than (terminal width - 2) characters. dialog_inputbox() calculates a negative x-offset for the input window and newwin() fails as this is invalid. It also doesn't check for this failure, so it busy-loops calling wgetch(NULL) which immediately returns -1. The additions in the offset calculations also don't match the intended size of the window. Limit the window size and calculate the offset similarly to show_scroll_win(). [ Upstream commit 82031ea29e454b574bc6f49a33683a693ca5d907 ] Adding -no-PIE to the fstack protector check. -no-PIE was introduced before -fstack-protector so there is no need for a runtime check. Without it the build stops: |Cannot use CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR_STRONG: -fstack-protector-strong available but compiler is broken due to -mcmodel=kernel + -fPIE if -fPIE is enabled by default. Tagging it stable so it is possible to compile recent stable kernels as well.
