Here are patches for designated initializers in kernel/*.

Stop using "struct tms" internally - always use timer ticks (or one of
the sane timeval/timespec types) instead.
Explicitly convert to clock_t when copying to user space for the old
broken interfaces that still use "clock_t".
Clean up and unify jiffies<->timeval conversion.

This is actually part of the work I've been doing to remove BHs, but it
stands by itself.

Here's suspend-to-{RAM,disk} combined patch for
2.5.17. Suspend-to-disk is pretty stable and was tested in
2.4-ac. Suspend-to-RAM is little more experimental, but works for me,
and is certainly better than disk-eating version currently in kernel.
Major parts are: process stopper, S3 specific code, S4 specific
code.

This is the patch to add support for PR_SET_FPEMU/PR_GET_FPEMU to give
per-process control over fp-emulation handling. It also cleans up the
way PR_SET_UNALIGN_CTL/PR_GET_UNALIGN_CTL are implemented.

(eg ppc64) where foo points to a function descriptor and .foo is
the address of the actual function.

This version of sys_nfsservctl() fix hadn't made DaveM complain.

This patch (#1) just converts the task_struct to use struct list_head rather
than direct pointers for maintaining the children list.

Big bits first, I'll redo the smaller bits tomorrow after some sleep.
Same as last time, rediffed against pre5
