ASoC: Updates for v7.0
This release is almost all abut driers, there's very little core work
here, although some of that driver work is in more generic areas like
SDCA and SOF:
- Generic SDCA support for reporting jack events.
- Continuing platform support, cleanup and feature improements for the
AMD, Intel, Qualcomm and SOF code.
- Platform description improvements for the Cirrus drivers.
- Support for NXP i.MX952, Realtek RT1320 and RT5575, and Sophogo
CV1800B.
We also pulled in one small SPI API update and some more substantial
regmap work (cache description improvements) for use in drivers.

Merge series from Simon Trimmer <simont@opensource.cirrus.com>:
This patch series adds a number of ACP7.0 match table entries that are
being used in customer products.
Some of the configurations are very similar so the series begins with
renaming and sorting the existing structures so that the end result is
easier to manage.

Merge series from Chris Morgan <macroalpha82@gmail.com>:
Add support for the Anbernic RG-DS Speaker Amplifiers. The Anbernic
RG-DS uses two AW87391 ICs at 0x58 and 0x5B on i2c2. However, the
manufacturer did not provide a firmware file, only a sequence of
register writes to each device to enable and disable them.
Add support for this *specific* configuration in the AW87390 driver.
Since we are relying on a device specific sequence I am using a
device specific compatible string. This driver does not currently
support the aw87391 for any other device as I have none to test
with valid firmware. Attempts to create firmware with the AwinicSCPv4
have not been successful.

Fix the following kconfig warning reported by the kernel test robot:
kismet: WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for
SND_SOC_ACPI_AMD_SDCA_QUIRKS when selected by SND_SOC_ACPI_AMD_MATCH
Depends on [n]: SOUND [=y] && SND [=y] && SND_SOC [=y] &&
ACPI [=y] && SND_SOC_SDCA [=n]
Selected by [y]:
- SND_SOC_ACPI_AMD_MATCH [=y] && SOUND [=y] && SND [=y] &&
SND_SOC [=y]
The issue occurs because SND_SOC_ACPI_AMD_SDCA_QUIRKS depends on
SND_SOC_SDCA, which may be disabled, causing unmet dependency warnings.
Fix this by adjusting the Kconfig dependency logic accordingly.

Initializing automatic __free variables to NULL without need (e.g.
branches with different allocations), followed by actual allocation is
in contrary to explicit coding rules guiding cleanup.h:
"Given that the "__free(...) = NULL" pattern for variables defined at
the top of the function poses this potential interdependency problem the
recommendation is to always define and assign variables in one statement
and not group variable definitions at the top of the function when
__free() is used."
Code does not have a bug, but is less readable and uses discouraged
coding practice, so fix that by moving declaration to the place of
assignment.

Currently the sof_sdw machine driver assumes that all devices involved
in the sound card are connected through a DAI link. However for SDCA
devices we still want the HID (Human Interface Device, used for jack
buttons) to be part of the sound card, but it contains no DAI links.
Add support into the machine driver to specify a list of auxiliary
devices to merged into the card.

The assumption so far is that all the DAI links for a given audio part
would be on the same device. However, as SDCA implements each audio
function on a separate auxiliary driver this will no longer be true.
This means it is necessary to add additional codec_conf structures to
get the prefix for an audio part to apply to all the auxiliary drivers
that make up that part.

Use dev_get_drvdata(dev->parent) instead of dev_get_platdata(dev)

Previously, some members were not updated properly due to incorrect

dereferences.
This issue was missed in the earlier commit

which only addressed set_tdm_slot(). This change ensures that all
relevant functions correctly retrieve acp_chip_info, preventing

Merge series from Qianfeng Rong <rongqianfeng@vivo.com>:
The 'ret' variable usually is used to store returns from some functions,
which return either zero on success or negative error codes on failure.
Storing the negative error codes in unsigned type, doesn't cause an issue
at runtime but it's ugly as pants. Additionally, assigning negative error
codes to unsigned type may trigger a GCC warning when the -Wsign-conversion
flag is enabled.
Change "ret" from u32/unsigned int to int type. No effect on runtime.

Change the 'ret' variable from u32 to int to store negative error codes
directly or returned by other functions.
Storing the negative error codes in unsigned type, doesn't cause an issue
at runtime but it's ugly as pants. Additionally, assigning negative error
codes to unsigned type may trigger a GCC warning when the -Wsign-conversion
flag is enabled.
No effect on runtime.

ASoC: Fixes for v6.17
This is a relatively small set of fixes and device quirks that came in
during the merge window, the AMD changes adding support for ACP 7.2
systems are all just adding IDs for the devices rather than any
substantial code - the actual code is the same as for prior versions of
the platform.

ASoC: Updates for v6.17
There's a few new drivers here and quite a lot of cleanup work from
Morimoto-san but generally this has been quite a quiet release,
resulting in a fairly small diffstat. Highlights include:
- Refactoring of the Kconfig menus to be hopefully more consistant and
easier to navigate.
- Refactoring of the DAPM code, mainly hiding functionality that
doesn't need to be exposed to drivers.
- Removal of the unused upstream weak paths DAPM functionality.
- Further work on the generic handling for SoundWire SDCA devices.
- Cleanups of our usage of the PM autosuspend functions, this pulls in
some PM core changes on a shared tag.
- Support for AMD ACP7.2 and SoundWire on ACP 7.1, Fairphone 4 & 5,
various Intel systems, Qualcomm QCS8275, Richtek RTQ9124 and TI TAS5753.
